Tatiana Leal-González joined Ferraiuoli LLC on September 2013.
Ms. Leal-González has focused her practice in substantive and procedural aspects of labor and employment law litigation and Puerto Rico employee benefits matters before local and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies. She has had exposure to federal practice supporting several litigations in federal court involving complex allegations of age discrimination, retaliation and disability discrimination. She also provides counseling on layoffs, employment terminations, severance agreements, misconduct, discrimination and other employment-related issues to prevent potential litigation.
Additionally, the scope of Ms. Leal-González work covers a broad spectrum of employee benefits matters, including: filing of ruling requests of pension plans for qualification with Puerto Rico tax authorities; coverage determinations of Puerto Rico plans under Title IV of ERISA with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation; correction proceedings with the U.S. Department of Labor; and plan administration; among other complex issues.
Ms. Leal-González is also a Public Notary.
