On April 25, 2019, the Supreme Court adopted changes to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedures, which will be effective on December 1, 2019. The amendments include the following rules: 4001, 6007, 9036, and Rule 9037.
In view of the amendments to Fed. R. Bankr. P. 9037 (Privacy Protection for Filings made with the Court), the procedure for filing motions to redact is changed. When using the CM\ECF event Motion to Redact, the filing party must attach to the motion a proposed redacted document. The public access to the Motion to Redact and the unredacted document will be restricted upon filing of the motion. If the court grants the Motion to Redact, the clerk will attach the redacted document to the original docket entry and restrict access to the unredacted document.
In addition to these changes, the official Chapter 7 Statement of Your Current Monthly Income form (B-122A-1) is modified.
