Elizabeth Villagrasa-Flores joined Ferraiuoli LLC as an Associate Attorney on September 2013. Her principal areas of practice include local and federal civil litigation, concentrating in complex commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Ferraiuoli, Ms. Villagrasa-Flores was an Associate Attorney in Cancio, Nadal, Rivera & Díaz, P.S.C., where she was a member of the Litigation Department and provided support to the Labor Department. Ms. Villagrasa-Flores developed an extensive background in complex litigation and class action lawsuits. She has ample experience representing clients both at the trial and appellate levels, as well as in administrative forums. She also provided support to the Labor Department where she developed proficiency in employment matters.
Ms. Villagrasa-Flores started her career as Attorney for the Puerto Rico Justice Department, where she was a member of the Federal Litigation and Bankruptcy Department. She was exposed to, and actively participated in numerous litigation matters acting as legal counsel for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and public officials in their personal capacity in civil rights matters before the Federal District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.
